1. Membership
Does membership cost anything?
Membership is free. No money is asked for membership or for any post. If anyone asks, tell us.
How do I become a member?
Fill the form on the Join page — name, mobile, area and the consent box. Then an OTP confirms your mobile or email and your member account is created.
How do I join by missed call?
When the missed-call number is switched on, it will be shown on the Join page. After the call, a link to join comes by SMS and our office-bearers will talk to you. If no number is shown, join through the online form.
What if the OTP does not come?
Wait a little, check your mobile number or email again, then ask for a new OTP. An OTP is valid for 10 minutes and can be tried only a limited number of times. If it still does not come, WhatsApp us.
How do I change my details?
After logging in, you can change your name, email, photo and area from “Profile” on your desk. For anything else, write to us.
How do I leave?
Write to support@partyofram.org or WhatsApp +91 8679280439. We will end your membership and remove your information as in the Privacy policy.
Does membership get me a post or a ticket?
No. Membership, contributions or points do not create any right to a post, ticket, candidature or benefit. See the Terms.
What is the ID card?
The member ID card is proof of your party membership; anyone can scan its QR to check that the card is genuine. It is not a government ID card.
2. Contributions
Is it compulsory to contribute?
No. A contribution is entirely voluntary and nothing is given in return. See the Contribution policy.
How do I contribute?
Only through the ways on the Contribute page — online payment, UPI/bank transfer, cheque or cash. Do not send it to anyone’s personal account or phone number.
What is the cash limit?
Cash contributions are accepted only up to ₹2,000.
When is PAN needed?
PAN and address are needed for contributions of ₹20,000 or more. The party records them in the form in which registered political parties must report contributions above ₹20,000 to the Election Commission (section 29C, Representation of the People Act, 1951); such a report may become public.
When will I get a receipt?
A receipt number is given after the treasurer verifies the contribution. If you do not get one, write to us.
Can I contribute from abroad?
Contributions from foreign sources are not accepted. If you are in doubt, write to us before sending.
What if money was taken by mistake?
Write to us within 7 days with the transaction number — see the Contribution policy.
Is there a tax deduction?
We do not claim any deduction. Please ask your chartered accountant.
3. Safety
Will the party ask me for an OTP or a password?
Never. No one from the party asks you for an OTP, password, UPI PIN or card number. If anyone does, do not give it and tell us.
What if someone asks for money in the party’s name?
Do not pay, and tell us at once. Contributions are taken only through the ways on this website’s Contribute page, and no money is taken in return for a post or ticket.
How do I know this is the real website?
The address must be partyofram.org. There may be other websites with similar names that have no connection with this party. See the Disclaimer.
How do I check whether an ID card is genuine?
Enter the member number on the Verify page or scan the QR on the card.

How do I have my information removed?
